Today on the podcast, Steve Suggs joins us to talk about hiring, training and management. He an author of the book Can They Sell as well as a speaker, trainer, and consultant. As a salesperson, sales manager, author of the book, Can They Sell, speaker, trainer and consultant, Steve Suggs has been in the sales trenches for thirty-seven years. Steve obtained his business degree at Lipscomb University in Nashville, TN.

Upon graduation he began his career in sales at Northwestern Mutual, and quickly moved to sales management. After fifteen years in sales and sales management with Northwestern Mutual, he has spent the last 20 years as a partner with Sales Manage Solutions.

On a daily basis, Steve uses all the tools and processes presented to you today. He has trained thousands of managers to recruit and coach the best, and spends up to 8 hours daily on the phone coaching managers to avoid hiring salespeople who they like, but can’t sell.

Today, Steve is going to teach us the Recruit the Best system with the tools and processes for hiring and coaching sales people.

For the past 37 years, Steve has been married to his college sweet heart Tammy and enjoys his two adult children, their spouses and his 3 grandchildren.
